My name is Li Zhongxia. All Chinese put their family name first,in other words,Li is my last name.I come of Liaoning Province,China.There are many mountains in my hometown.On holiday,people like to climb the mountains.Because the air in mountain is much cleaner than which in city.When I was an undergraduate student,my major is automobile service engineering.So, I have learned much knowledge about automobile.Just like how to sale the automobile and fix the automobile and so on.As a result,now,I am a graduate student and my major is MBA.Because I want to have a business job which is about automobile.I like to play basketball and also I like to watch NBA.In the past time,my favourite team is Rocket,but now I just watch the match.And my favourite player is T-mac.This is the first time that I come to the U.S.,and I will watch a NBA match in future.Also I will make many friends in New Paltz and we will go to watch the match together.

Hello，my name is JIAxiaomei and I’m from China.You can call me Freya. My parents are businessmen, and I have a younger sister who is studying in primary school. I especially love sleeping and reading. But I have a bad habit, I always read too late to sleep. Furthermore, this is my first time to the USA, and everything is unfamiliar to me, I have to try my best to adapt to all this.

I’m from Sichuan province, which is very famous for the spicy and hot pot. And also, it is the hometown of the panda. In China, lots of people think that my hometown is a good place to live not only because of the delicious snacks but also because of the beautiful sights. I graduated from high school last year,and after that, I studied in Beijing, the capital of China. Here, I started to begin to learn some American courses like accounting, math, and history. So, maybe I can start as a sophomore when I finish the ESL courses, but perhaps I can’t transfer all my credits. In any case, I hope I can transfer.

       First I want to introduce myself in brief. My name is Raja Almaj , from Makkah, Saudi Arabia and I’m a dentist. I went to high school in Makkah and I’ve been there my whole life till I finished high school. Then I moved to Riyadh the capital city of Saudi Arabia to continue my bachelor’s degree in dentistry at Riyadh Colleges.

      

       I lived in Riyadh for seven years to finish my bachelor’s degree. I lived there with my sister and she is a dentist too.

      
         In my last year in bachelor degree, I got engaged with my lovely husband Husam. Then we got married after I graduated from dental school. After that we came immediately to this lovely town, New Paltz , to study ESL to improve our English Language and pass the TOEFL,   I’m planning to continue my master’s in dentistry here in the U.S. in one of the strongest dental schools.

Let’s talk in simple way. My name is Husam Joharjy, and I’m from Saudi Arabia. I grew up and lived in the most beautiful city in Saudi Arabia, which is called Jeddah. I finished high school in Jeddah as well. After that I moved to Riyadh, which is the main city in Saudi Arabia to study dentistry in one of the strongest dental schools there. My father inspired me to enter this lovely field.

Finally, I graduated from dental school and I got married with a lovely dentist, Raja. These are two of my biggest dreams in my life.

After I got married, I decided to continue my postgraduate studies abroad. Then I moved to the U.S.A to learn more and strengthen my English language at SUNY New Paltz to achieve a higher score in TOEFL.

After that, I would like to have a chance to get an acceptance from the dental school to earn knowledge and experience in a dental field,

Eventually, I hope all my dreams come true and I come back to my country to serve my community with honor.

All about Mody

                My name is mohammad, I prefer people call me “mody”. I’m nineteen years old. I’m from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I have two brothers and four sisters. I have one nephew and two nieces. I have seven uncles and twelve aunts. I have a lot of cousins, about two hundred to three hundred. We live near each other. And there is something interesting about one of my uncles; he married two women, and he has ten sons and ten daughters.

I like all kind of sports, and my favorites are soccer, tennis, volleyball, baseball and ping pong. I was playing soccer every day in my neighborhood with my cousins, and in Ramadan we play volleyball. I watch tennis on TV. I bought a soccer ball from the Poughkeepsie Galleria, and I will invite my friends to play soccer soon.

Maybe people think it’s weird but I love history. I love to watch and search everything about history. My father’s major was history, so I think I inherited it from him. And I also like to watch documentary programs. I like to see how animals live and what they eat, and how they get their food. And I like to see how people lived in the past, and see how was their houses, and what they used to work.

I'm from El Salvador, I'm 24 years old and I have been living in New Paltz for 9 months.I came here to make my dreams come true, work hard and study in a good College.Something that characterizes me is my smile. I'm always happy and positive, I try to see the good and beautiful parts of life even though it is a gray day.I love the movies, adventures, happy people, sunny days, flowers, romantic histories and more.I don't like lies, waking up early, cooking, problems, and a broken heart.My crazies dream was to be Miss Universe.Well that was when I was 6 years old but I still remember the way that I used my mom's shoes and giving kisses for everybody.Actually I don't have crazy dream because I think that all the dreams are possible.You only need to work hard to make it true.When I came here to USA I decided to learn English even when the things looked difficult or impossible. All About Dandan

I'm Dandan and I come from China. My hometown is near Hongkong. It's a beautiful place close to the sea.

Last summer vacation, our family went to Dameisha every month. We spent a lot of time there. We always go to Dameisha to eat seafood. Because this is one of the foods that our family both likes.

I'm also an undergraduate student at SUNY New Paltz. I came here to study for business. But I prefer art major than business. So I think I will take painting class for my academic class in Level 4.

New Paltz is a good place. I'll enjoy every day here and meet people from different countries.

Xuanwei

      My name is Xuanwei Chen. I am from China. My major is Music Therapy. I am very interested in this major because it contains music and psychology I like both. I hope that someday I will be an excellent music therapist so I can help some people remove their afflictions.

My short-term goal is to learn English. I want to accomplish English language courses as early as possible and go to study my professional courses.

I have some hobbies . travel is my favorite. It can open my outlook and abound my knowledge. China has many national minorities that have different cultures and customs. I am interested in understanding that. If I go to a minority area, I will try to understand their eating habits. But I had never gone abroad before. I came to the United States so it is my first time to go abroad. I feel that I  am very lucky I have a long time to feel culture of America and to learn my favorite major.
