My Love Story

                 I will always remember last Thanksgiving Day, 2011. I went to Chicago to see my boyfriend. I was excited because it was a long time that I hadn’t seen him.

                 This was my first time to travel to Chicago and I was curious about this city. My friend had told me that there are a lot of beautiful sights, and it was worth traveling to. So I looked forward to it.

                 However, when I arrived at the airport, I lost my way. This time, I was very worried, I still remember the last time I had lost my way and I didn’t want to repeat the same mistakes. Then I called my boyfriend and he told me how to find the exit. Finally, I found the exit and I saw my boyfriend. After that, I hugged him. I really missed him so much because we studied in different states. We usually only get to chat through Skype, so we cherished the chance to meet.

                 After the long trip, I felt very tired and he took me to have dinner. When we finished dinner, we came back to the hotel. At this time, the room was suddenly dark and I saw a lot of roses arranged in a heart shape in the middle was a birthday cake with many lighted candles. I was so surprised. He said that since my birthday was in November by giving me a surprise and he couldn’t celebrate my birthday, he wanted to make up for my birthday.

 

                  And then, on the night of Thanksgiving he took my hand, and he took me to see the panorama of Chicago’s skyline at a restaurant. Then we shared dinner.

                  I looked at him, and I was grateful to my boyfriend for everything. I still remember the special date. I will always cherish him and enjoy this together time.
