Snow for the first time !

I will never forget my first day when I came to the United States of America Last spring in January 2012. It was my dream life to continue my higher education abroad. So I was so exited and happy to begin a new chapter in my life, discover a new world, and meet new people.

After long preparation for visa, the college application, to finish up the scholarship paper, I flew from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in the middle of the night.  Had a13 hour flight. However, I couldn’t sleep on the airplane because it was crowded and noisy. The seats were stuffy narrow and my legs were pushed against to the front seat besides, all the seats in the airplane were full. The airplane was like a sardine cane. Moreover, when the airplane reached the Atlantic Ocean, there were air pockets, which is made me panic. Which, is make it worse I am always scared of flying especially if there are air pockets because it is make me feel sick.  So it was an uncomfortable and unforgettable journey. The relieving moment came when, the captain announced fasten the seats belt. We arrived in the U.S.A at JFK airport in the early morning and the airport was very crowded there were so many planes arriving at the same time. All of them came from countries far a way. While I was on the Escalator and I was going down I didn’t now where to go there were so many lines and there is like million of people waiting in this line to rich the immigration counter.  I was wandering which one should I take? I decided to follow the people from my country who where on my plane.

After waiting one hour in the immigration line and I was sleepless. I finish with the immigration counter lady, and she was very nice lady.  I took my bag from the luggage. Then I found the exit door in front of me and it’s written on the wall welcome to New York.

Finally I went out of the airport and it was amazing I was Staunched. It was snowing and it was my first time to see the Snow. All the land was covered with the white snow. Just Like I had seen it in the picture all that Exhausted and tired that I Felt go a way and I felt relief. Then I realized that not everything in life perfect and nothing is complete every thing have the good side and bad side. At the end what I have learned is that if there are no ups and downs in your life. It means you are dead!
