Have you heard of music therapy? Do you know what are the
useful of music therapy? Music therapy is the use of various forms of all
musical activities, people achieve health purposes. Most of people are doubts about the treatment effect. However,
existing medicine confirms music does have some efficacy in different areas,
such as relieve the pain of surgery patients, psychological counseling women
during pregnancy, and treating insomnia.
One important effect of music therapy is that relieving the
pain of surgery patients. The music therapist will choose the suitable music to
play to the patients, the rhythm of music can change the body's internal rhythm
such as heart rate, can also adjust the emotional state such as soothing,
repeated, steady rhythm relaxation, sedation. As we know, surgery needs to use
anesthetic, however, some of surgeries do not need to use it. Anesthetic is not
good for health. If we use music-based interventions to help patients relieve
pain and anxiety, meanwhile, it is more beneficial for doctor to treatment
intently. It is also useful for the alleviation of pain that will speed up the
rehabilitation of disease.
Music therapy also is good for pregnant women. Women during
pregnancy can relieve the tension and anxiety by music therapy. At the same
time, it is help for the baby to grow up. Music will stimulate the development
of baby’s brain. Some research shows that the babies that listened to the music
in mother’s belly are more intelligent than that did not listen to the music.
When the Pregnant woman is giving birth, the music therapy also can help her
give birth smoothly.
Finally, music therapy helps lots of people break away from
the insomnia. Some songs of downy tune will create the effect of hypnosis. When
the insomnia patients listen to these songs, they will want to sleep. In
addition, insomnia is always caused by the mood while music is the best way to
adjust it. If you have a good mood, you will not be insomnia. By the same
token, if you have a high quality sleeping, you will have a good mood.
Meantime, high quality sleeping and good mood are beneficial your body.
To sum up, music therapy is not only good for our
psychology, but also good for our body. Whether relieving the pain of surgery
patients, or psychological counseling of women during pregnancy, and treating
insomnia, music therapy is beneficial. In varies of areas, the music therapy
plays an irreplaceable role.
