My semester in NP

Since I was here, everything is fresh to me. Time flies, right now is my forth month that I in New Paltzs. I cannot believe that time pass this fast. I learn a lot of English in here; also I have more actual chance to be communicating with Americans. United States is one of the places that everyone wants to come, and I am glad I am one of it.

The teacher here is pretty nice and friendly. They taught us a lot of techniques to study English. Even though sometimes we have a lot of work need to be complete, but I think the pressure can make you become stronger. Right now I am more confident to speak with American; second language is not a night mare anymore.

As a result, I met a lot of friends in here. I joined certain activities with Americans, and I really enjoy spending time with them. Everything is new and fun. Some of them are older than me. In my country we have the age different, but in here everybody is the same. This is shocked for me, which makes me even like States more.

When I have free time I like to play basketball in the gym. I met lots of cool people in here. The ability here is much stronger than Taiwan. I like to compete with them, and I think right now I improve a lot already. They are curious about me sometimes because not much Asian play basketball. Therefore, I earn a lot of information not just the skills of basketball.

Overall, these experiences are very important to me. It affects me a lot, and I really had a great time in New Patltz. I am thankful for my father who sends me here to study. He makes a right choice because I learn a lot in here. I hope that my English can improve more by next year, and I have faith I will make it.
